Dined here for Valentine's Day! Sat inside and enjoyed the fishy vibe. There are fish like statues on the wall and it's giving like fisherman boat vibes but in a good classy way if that makes any sense! We started with the calamari and crab cake and they were both really good! My husband had the swordfish with gnocchi and that was really really good! I had the scallops and it came with three small scallops on top of risotto and I feel like for the price it was very small portion but I don't know why I excepted anything else because all scallop dishes are like that. It was very tasty! Our service was great! Our server was sweet and very attentive. The busser was walking around and whenever we finished a dish he would offer to grab it. Always watching to see if we needed more water! Overall great experience and will return to try their lunch menu!

Everything we ordered was great! The clam chowder had a lot of great flavors and the shrimp tacos were fresh and tasted very good as well. The albacore tostada was my favorite thing that we ordered because it had strong and great flavors as well. After we ordered, we waited 25 minutes for our first appetizer and then it took 20 minutes after that to get our entrees. We went on a weekday Mid afternoon and the service was kind, but much too slow. We had an overall great experience and enjoyed the ambience! Street parking can be difficult.

We went here our first night in SD based on the reviews and recommendations and the fact that I love seafood. We had a table outside and it was a little chilly but there were heaters. We had great service and I enjoyed my wine. All of the food was outstanding-the clam chowder, the scallops, and the swordfish. I would absolutely return it was the best meal we had on our trip!

Wow, the Market Lettuce salad is so good. It is made with a nice variety of local organic veggies from J.R. Organic Farms and the dressing is delicious. It is such a treat to have a quality side salad and The Fishery does an excellent job with this salad. Add to it a bowl of their clam chowder, you have the perfect lunch. It doesn't get any better here in Pacific Beach. Sitting outside on their patio in the fresh air is a treat, but if the weather is cool, the inside is nice as well. So appreciate the attention to fresh local ingredients, it is like getting a warm hug when you eat here.

The fishery has been a staple in PB. The food is always consistently good and never a let down. Their seasonal starters are always SO GOOD, recently they had the sweet peppers with a pistachio pesto and they are amazing. The fish and chips always hit and the macadamia crusted Alaskan halibut is also very good. The service and drinks are always great and The Fishery is always giving "romantic lighting" vibes, if you are looking for a spot for date night.

YUM YUM YUM. I cannot rave about this place enough. Seriously, The Fishery was one of the best places that we tried during our visit to San Diego. I highly recommend the Smoked Albacore Dip, the Salmon Tartare, and the Fish & Chips. Everything here is probably a huge hit, but those were what we tried and I loved them all. The ambiance is casual, with seating available inside and out. No particular dress code required. Service was efficient and personable. 10/10 experience.

Great seafood restaurant in San Diego. Service was good as they were attentive and accommodated our requests. The seafood was fresh and the dishes were creative. What I enjoyed was the various inspirations of flavors from all over the world, including Asian, Italian, Mediterranean, and more. The one dish I have to recommend and would honestly just go back for was the saltspring mussels. The mussels were cooked perfectly but it was the green curry broth that left the strongest impact. It was spectacular and I could just drink it all day. It was very memorable and perhaps one of my favorite mussel dishes I've had. Food: Calamari: 4/5 - crispy, light, tender, everything you want in good calamari Saltspring mussels: 5/5 - best thing I've had in San Diego Sicilian sashimi: 3/5 - a little disappointing, felt like it needed a little more acidity Pacific bone-in swordchop: 4/5 - the swordfish was very tender and not dry, pairing very well with the muhammara Whole local rockfish: 2.5 - thought it was lacking in flavor although the pineapple salsa it came with was very good Mexican chocolate cake: 4/5 - moist cake, not chocolate wasn't too strong, and I liked the contrasting texture from the toppings

Can I just review the Mexican Chocolate Cake? It's literally the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my life. The depth of chocolate flavor is so developed. The cake itself is super super moist. And the chocolate mousse layers? Equally as delicious, so soft and almost pudding-like and not too sweet. I was worried the caramel sauce would be overwhelming sweet, but it was almost like umami sweet, which was so unexpected and complemented the cake so well. If I could only eat 1 dessert for the rest of my life, this would be it. The service here was also exceptional. I did not expect this level of service as our server happily explained the menu to us in detail and answered all of our questions. He also helped us course out our dinner as well. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but he checked in with us so many times throughout the meal, making sure everything was to our liking. As for the food - it's a bit pricey, but you can tell they use top tier fish. We opted for a mix of everything - amberjack crudo, raw oysters, octopus, clams with tagliatelle, and a macadamia nut crusted halibut. All the seafood was incredibly fresh, nothing was even remotely fishy. The octopus was the most tender I've had, and the sauce that accompanied it was incredible. The tagliatelle was cooked to a perfect al dente. The halibut was meaty, yet flaky, juicy, and tender. I also appreciated that the flavors of each dish were completely different, so it was like a completely new experience with each dish. If you're a seafood lover and looking to splurge, this place is for you.

Dinner here with my friends was awesome! The service was great and we enjoyed our selections! The grilled oysters and clams were delicious. We added tagliatelle to the clams to make it more of an entree. But my fav was the crispy albacore belly picatta! It's to die for. The cocktails were pretty crafty and a bit pricey with most $17+. I had The Fishery Milk Punch made with tequila, vermouth, yogurt and clarified oat milk. Very cute, but next time I'll opt for a glass of wine. The dining room has a classic fish house feel, much like The Fish Market. But there's also a patio for those warm summer nights.
